The Mobile Phone Games Site Privacy Policy

We collect personally identifying information during site registration. We may use such information to fulfil prizes, track compliance with our rules, or for content improvement and feedback purposes. Each email we send you will include a description of the simple opt out process to enable you to stop receiving future e-mail. Players e-mail addresses are never posted on the games web site.

Game Pods are the official currency of Skillpod.com and its affiliates. Game Pods are also awarded to players for winning tournaments or awarded for special events and promotions. In monetary terms, each pod is worth one South African cent. With pods you can:

- Buy and Download Games

By clicking on the Categories link under ‘Navigation’, you will be directed to a Categories screen where you are able to click on the Category of your choice. Once all the mobile phone games have loaded, choose the game which you would like to play and click on either the image of the game, or the ‘Play’ button. The game will automatically load, and you will be directed furthermore by the in-game instructions.

By clicking on the ‘Register’ button on the top left hand corner of the screen, you will be directed to a Register screen, where you can either connect via your Facebook account, or complete the required details, and click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the registration. Once you have clicked on the ‘Submit’ button, you will be navigated to a screen where you will be told that you have successfully registered and that you must check your e-mail address for confirmation. By connecting via your Facebook account, you will be directed to a page where you are required to enter your Facebook login details and click on ‘Connect’.

By clicking on the Leaderboards link under ‘Navigation’, you will be directed to a Leaderboards screen where all the mobile phone game high scores are listed, under the respective game. You will also be able to view the high scores under each game that you play.

After registering or connecting via Facebook you will automatically be navigated to your profile screen. If you navigate away from the screen, ensure that the four main icons are visible at the very top of the screen, and click on the second icon representing your profile. Once back on your profile screen, click on the ‘Edit Profile’ link under Player Info. You will be navigated to an edit profile screen where you will be required to edit all the applicable fields and click on ‘Submit’ once all the fields have been edited. Please note that you are required to edit your profile, before an avatar can be chosen or changed.

After registering or connecting via Facebook you will automatically be navigated to your profile screen. If you navigate away from the screen, ensure that the four main icons are visible at the very top of the screen, and click on the second icon representing your profile. Please note that you are required to edit your profile, before an avatar can be chosen or changed. Once back on your profile screen, click on the ‘Change Avatar’ link under Player Info. You will be navigated to a Change Avatar screen, where you can select an avatar of your choice by merely clicking on the avatar.

You can change your password by going to the ‘Edit Profile’ link under your profile, as explained under ‘How to Edit Your Profile’.

You can change your time zone by going to the ‘Edit Profile’ link under your profile and editing the country you live in, as explained under ‘How to Edit Your Profile’.

By ensuring the four icons at the top of your screen are visible, and clicking on the second one, you will be navigated to your profile screen. You will be able to view your top scores on your profile screen as well as under each game that you have played.

By clicking on the ‘Tournaments’ link under Navigation, you will be navigated to a Tournaments page, where you can click on any tournament you wish and play the mobile phone game – by doing so, you have automatically entered the tournament.

If you have scored a high score on any game, you will be shown a button to log your high score in the game window when the game has ended. Simply click this and your score will be logged.

You can contact us at any time by clicking on the ‘Contact Us’ link at the bottom right of the screen. You will be navigated to a Contact Us screen, where you are required to simply complete the contact form which will appear and click on the “Submit” link at the bottom of the form, which will send an e-mail to us in order for us to assist you as soon as possible.

You can view another user’s mini profile by clicking on the fourth icon at the top of the screen representing your friends. You will be navigated to a screen featuring your friends, and by clicking on a friend’s name anywhere in the site, you will be navigated to their mini profile.

You can view your pod balance by clicking on the second icon at the top of the screen, representing your profile. Your pod balance is situated on your profile page.

You are welcome to play any of the games as many times as you want - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

By clicking on any players name, you will be navigated to their mini profile. You can then click on the ‘Add as friend’ link under the nickname. Once the player has confirmed the pending friend request on their side, the player becomes your friend.

You can then click on the ‘Send Message’ link where you will be navigated to a screen where you are required to complete the message fields and click on the ‘Send’ link at the bottom of the form. You can also send a message, by replying to a message sent to you in the message fields, and clicking on ‘Send’.

You will know a message has been sent to you when a number appears on your message icon which is the third icon at the very top of your screen, represented by an envelope. By clicking on the message icon, you will be navigated to your messages screen where you can click on the message subject which is a link, in order to read the message.

By going to the info page of the mobile phone game you are interested in purchasing and downloading, and clicking on the ‘Buy Game’ button, you will be directed to a screen where you have to accept in a tick box that SkillPod cannot be held liable if the game is not compatible for your handset. After clicking on the ‘submit’ button, you will be navigated to a Zong mobile payment screen where you will be required to enter your mobile operator and phone number. Once complete, click on the ‘Continue’ button. You will be navigated to a screen where you will be asked to either pay for the purchase, or redeem your free Zong points, should you have any – the choice is up to you. You will then be required to enter the pin code, and click on the ‘Continue’ button which will complete the transaction. A mobile phone game can also be purchased by clicking on the ‘Buy this Game Now’ button whilst the game is loading.

To confirm or reject friend requests, click on the last icon at the top of the screen representing friends. You will be navigated to a friend’s page, where you are able to confirm or reject friend requests by clicking on either ‘Confirm Friend’ or ‘Reject Request’ under ‘pending friend requests’. Please note that you are able to remove your friends at any time by clicking on the ‘Remove Friend’ icon situated next to each friend.

Once complete, click on the ‘Continue’ button. You will be navigated to a screen where you will be asked to either pay for the purchase, or redeem your free Zong points, should you have any – the choice is up to you. You will then be required to enter the pin code, and click on the ‘Continue’ button which will complete the transaction.

A message will be sent to you if you have been challenged by a friend. Go to your messages by clicking on the third icon at the top of your screen represented by two envelopes, and once your messages have loaded, click on the challenge subject to open the message. You will be instructed to click on the ‘here’ link where you will subsequently be navigated to the game screen where the game will load for you to take on the challenge.

Trophies can be won by playing tournaments, and if you are the first, second or third lucky winner, you will win either a gold, silver, bronze or game specific trophy.

You can refer a friend by going to the Refer a Friend link under Navigation, where you will be navigated to a Refer a Friend screen where you must enter the e-mail address in the required field, and click on the ‘Submit’ button to refer that friend. An e-mail will be sent to that friend requesting them to join gazuma! Please note that you will not earn pods for referring friends successfully.

A confirmation code is the code sent to you via e-mail after registering on gazuma! You are required to either click on the link within the e-mail to submit the code automatically, or enter it on your profile screen by clicking on the ‘Enter confirmation code’ link, where you will ne navigated to a screen with a field for the confirmation code to be entered. After entering the confirmation code, click on the ‘submit’ button.
